Afufu Community High School in North Malaita finally receives a new classroom and a staff building from the Japanese Government.

Thanks to the Japanese Government for funding the project under its Grassroots Project.

SIBC Stringer at Malu’u, Lensley Kwaimani reports.

“The classroom building project was funded by the Japanese Grassroots program and the total project cost was $568,000.00 according to Head Teacher Lufi Ramo. The project duration is for 12 months and the community has worked so hard that they completed the project before six months. Lensley Kwaimani reporting from Afufu.”

Afufu School Head Teacher Lufi Ramo thanks the government and people of Japan for the assistance.

SIBC News understands, the Japanese Government via its Grassroots Project, has assisted more than hundred schools across Solomon Islands since its establishment in the country.
