People around the Tenavatu Cattle breeding farm in North Guadalcanal have called on the Ministry of Agriculture Live Stock division to quickly construct a relocated stock yard to secure cows for sale.

SIBC’s stringer Dudley Gani reports, a Vutu village Chief Alfred Lova made the call to ensure the breeding and rehabilitation project is successful.

“Chief Alfred Lova from Vutu village who has also involved in the project said he raised this because he wants to see the breeding and cattle rehabilitation at Tenavatu a successful one.”

Gani reports Chief Lova as saying, it is important to ensure better management of the project to complete stock yards and prepare a sale for cattle farmers.

He says, only proper management of the project will develop the cattle industry and ensure its sustainability.
