MUA RELINQUISHED PARTY ROLE, REALIGNED WITH D.C.C GOVERNMENT

Member of Parliament for Savo Russells, Hon. Dickson Mua has relinquished his role as Parliamentary wing leader of the Solomon Islands Party for Rural Advancement (SIPRA) and realigned himself with the Democratic Coalition for Change, DCC, Government.

Confirming his resignation to the media last Friday, Mr Mua says he decides to switch camp based on the wishes of his people.

The MP explains, his constituents have pressured him to deal with the Russell Islands Plantation Estate Limited (RIPEL) issue.

He says DCC has a lot of potentials to improve the lives of Solomon Islanders adding, it could well have the perfect solution for
outstanding RIPEL issue.

SIBC News is aware, Mr Mua has handed his resignation documents to Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare.
