MURDER SUSPECT CAPTURED.
Police this morning arrested a suspect in relation to a murder incident that occurred at Tetere area in 2011.
Police officers carried out an operation after they were alerted of the accused resulting in his arrest early today, near the Nguvia School at Tetere area.
The wanted murder suspect has been on the run ever since the death of another Guadalcanal man at Tetere.
He is also believed to be an associate of Stanley Gitoa who was re-arrested last year.
The suspect is currently in police custody at Central Police Station with several charges including Murder and other offences such as assault, threatening and malicious damage.
Meanwhile, police urge members at Tetere area, to continue to support the police to create a crime free zone in their communities and homes.
