MY GOVERNMENT WILL TRY TO BE TRANSPARENT: PREMIER RAMOHIA
Newly elected Premier for Malaita Province, Peter Channel Ramohia says his government will try and provide a transparent leadership and ensure that good governance prevails.
Premier Ramohia made the comment in his speech yesterday after his victory in the Malaita Province Chambers.
SIBC’s stringer for Malu’u, Lensley Kwaimani today reports the newly elected premier also adds his government will continue to foster a cordial relationship with the DCC Government.
“He said his government will continue to foster a good working relationship with the newly elected Democratic Coalition for Change Government. He said this is reflected by the development of their policy statement with the Democratic Coalition for Change Government policy.”
Mr Kwaimani also quotes Premier Ramohia as making a call for the DCC Government to support his provincial government address some of the outstanding developments in the province.
“The new Premier further states that as a newly elected Premier he would like on behalf of youths in Malaita Province, call on the Democratic Coalition for Change Government to support his new government to facilitate the implementation of the Auluta and Waisisi Palm Oil Plantations, Suafa Bay factory, Bina Habour, the industrial parks at Liwe, Kadabina and Faumamanu in the next four years and also to connect other economic activities in Malaita Province.”
