A SDA-run school in North East Guadalcanal school has yet to receive its exam results and in a joint call, parents of the school want the school to explain why this happened.

Provincial Assembly Member for Paripao Ward, and a parent of Tenakoga Community High School, Andrew Rayboe said the Ministry of Education had told him that results are unavailable for Tenakoga because the school did not pay up its exam fees.

Mr. Rayboe says this is upsetting, especially for parents who paid exam fees for their children.

“People are coming in trying to ask questions why, because parents are paying big fees for their children, and they are also paying the exam fees. So when there are no results like this, we are so upset, asking why the school admin is handling the results and the school this way”, he said.

The Provincial Assembly Member also said his attempts to reach school authorities were unsuccessful as the school’s phone line is not working.

SIBC News understands Tenakoga Community High School is a Seventh Day Adventist school.
