PM DECIDED NOT TO ATTEND COP21 DUE TO PARLIAMENT

Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare has decided not to attend his two remaining trips for this year as Parliament is still in session.

The trips are the Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting -CHOGM which will be held in Malta and the Conference of Parties 21 (COP 21), which will be held next month in Paris.

Confirming this to SIBC News is Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Deli Oso who says Deputy Prime Minister Manasseh Maelanga will attend the CHOGM in Malta while the Minister of Environment and Climate Change will attend the COP 21 in Paris.
