POLICE BOSS COMMENDED FOR GOOD WORK
The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) has been commended for its work in maintaining peace and security during the Christmas and New Year celebrations in North Malaita.
Police operations in Malu’u during the festive season resulted in three arrests for illegal brewing.
SIBC’s North Malaita stringer, John Andrew Kiri reports, North Malaitans have expressed their gratitude to the Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast for this good work.
“Special 2016 New Year commendation and thanks goes to the police boss Frank Prendergast for the excellent work done by police that we have seen, felt and experienced the good work by Malu’u police, led by OCS Peter Kinita and conducted during the festive season, and we won’t forget the Malaita PPC Alfred Uiga who has helped to achieve a successful and peaceful celebration during the festive season.”
