NDMO CONDUCTS DETAILED ASSESSMENTS

The National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) is currently conducting detailed assessments on the impacts of the recent bad weather throughout the provinces.
NDMO Programs Officer Brian Tom says the office is communicating with affected communities.
“We have conducted an Initial Situation Overview over the phone by collecting information from people calling our office and interviewed by our officers. Information collected was then put together to give us the idea of which areas to focus on when conducting a Detailed Sector Assessment.”
The NDMO Programs Officer adds an Impacts Report will be compiled for possible assistance after the assessments are completed.
