POLICE COMMISSIONER ATTENDS RAMSI’s 13th ANNIVERSARY

Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast will attend RAMSI’s 13th Anniversary celebrations in Pululaha, Small Malaita tomorrow.

The Police Commissioner confirmed his attendance at his weekly media conference yesterday.

Mr Prendergast says he will be accompanying RAMSI Special Coordinator Quinton Devlin on the weekend.

“I am attending the RAMSI 13th Anniversary celebration on the weekend, am travelling with the Special Coordinator and some other people to the Yam Festival which will also double up as an acknowledgement of RAMSI’s 13th anniversary and I just like to take the opportunity to mark the event and once again thank RAMSI for all their support to the RSIPF, the work that the PPF have done has been really valuable in ensuring the RSIPF is developed to the level that it has and while there’s still a bit of work to be done before RAMSI finishes, I didn’t think it was appropriate not to acknowledge the 13th anniversary.”

SIBC News understands, RAMSI will celebrate its 13th-anniversary coinciding with the Small Malaita Yam Cultural Festival tomorrow.
