Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo will leave Honiara tomorrow on a state visit to New Zealand.

During the state visit, Prime Minister Lilo will officially open the Solomon Islands High Commission Office in Wellington.

A press statement from the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet also said the Prime Minister will be holding high-level meetings with New Zealand business houses and meetings with top New Zealand Government ministers.

The Prime Minister will also be holding bilateral talks with his New Zealand counterpart John Key.

The press statement says Prime Minister Lilo is also expected to be accorded a Guard of Honour during his planned visit to the New Zealand parliament, next Wednesday.

The Prime Minister and his delegation leaves tomorrow and are expected to return on Monday, March 17.
