PROVINCIAL ELECTION OFFICERS FOR GUADALCANAL TO BE DEPLOYED

Presiding and polling officers for South Guadalcanal provincial election will be deployed tomorrow ahead of Wednesday’s election.
The training for 48 officers have been completed today and officers will be deployed to polling stations tomorrow.
SIBC’s South Guadalcanal stringer Nathaniel Manu reports, Assistant Returning Officer Terry Vekea urges officers to maintain transparency and accountable during the polling day.
“According to the Assistant Returning Officer for South Guadalcanal Mr Terry Vekea he told all the officers they have the key to democratic processes in their hands. He also encouraged them to be transparent and accountable in doing their job for the Guadalcanal Provincial Elections this year.”
South Guadalcanal has sixteen polling stations with three Wards for Wednesday’s10th December provincial election.
