Ruth Liloqula has been re-elected as Chair of the Transparency Solomon Islands Board.

This follow’s TSI’s Annual General Meeting held over the weekend in Honiara.

Speaking at the AGM, Ms Liloqula said corruption is slowly killing the country and people are sinking into it.

She said it is now time that TSI has to stand up and do its work.

The TSI Chair also urged interested members or groups who are willing to join and build coalitions with TSI to register with the organisation.

She said together they can make corruption a thing of the past.

Other board members who were re-elected are Jude Devesi as Vice Chair, and John Taupongi as Secretary.

Former members continuing on the Board are Bob Pollard, Tony Hughes and Florence Naesol.

The Annual General Meeting also saw the election of Tui Alu as Treasurer, and new members, Andrew Muaki and Evan Wasuka.
