SOLOMON WARRIORS WON MATCH AGAINST VANUATU’S TAFEA

Solomon Warriors has won its match against Vanuatu’s Tafea FC, two goals to one in the Melanesian Cup Competition this afternoon.

A splendid free kick from Kensi Tangis opened the sheet for the Warriors in the first 34 minutes of the game.

In the 53rd minute of the second spell – Kensi Tangis again dribbled the ball into the penalty box placing it behind the net as Tafea’s goal keeper Selonie Laruel watched helplessly.

Rebounding in the 65 minute of the match saw a great volley shot from Tafea’s Robert Tasso to pull back one for his side.

The Warriors smiled and walked away with their three points over Tafea at the sound of the final hooter.

Solomon Warriors next match will be against Amicale 2:30pm this Saturday at Port Villa Stadium.
