Solomon Islands National Football Team will be up against the might of Papua New Guinea in a do-or-die OFC Nation Cup’s semi-final playoff at the Sir John Guise Stadium tomorrow.

Solomon’s Head Coach Moses Toata placed high confidence on his top forwards Benjamin Totori and Micah Lea’alafa to lead his men in the must-win football clash.

The 33-year-old Fa’arodo with a wealth of experience, says there are a couple of young talents in the side who have blended exceptionally well with the likes of Benjamin Totori, Joses Nawo, Gibson Daudau and James Naka.

The Captain says qualifying for the semi-final of the OFC Nations Cup was an achievement for him and his players.

He adds it was great working with his young players to experience football at such level. One of these young talents is Micah Lea’alafa who is currently playing with Auckland City.

The sensational dual international Lea’alafa was the star at the recent OFC Champions League final, scoring two goals and winning the Golden Boot Award to ensure Auckland City to the FIFA Club World Cup in Japan in December.

PNG’s advantage is its home crowd support.

The game kicks off at 8pm local time tomorrow.
