A student studying at the Ruavatu Secondary School in North Guadalcanal has called on intending candidates of the constituency to initiate better ways to provide quality education for the province’s young population.

Lawrence Seke told SIBC News, the constituency’s future political representative should secure funds to build school infrastructure in the constituency.

Mr Seke said this is important as school infrastructures are currently deteriorating.

He adds investing in education is important for the future development of the constituency and for Guadalcanal Province.

“I want them to carefully consider our schools in Central Guadalcanal and fund any schools who are facing problems as well as improve on their weak areas as well as help their students because they are the future.”
