STUDENTS EVACUATED AS FLOOD WATERS HIT SCHOOL

The Church of Melanesia, COM, has evacuated students from Selwyn College as a result of the continuous heavy rain.

COM Communications officer Aldrin Peloko confirms, students were taken to Honiara yesterday.

However, he says a number of students are still on campus.

He assures parents and guidance that the students are in good hands and their safety is guaranteed.

“Despite the school being faced with such he assured parents and guardians who have their children residing at the school that they in good hands.”
