STUDENTS FINISHED TWO DAY MEDIA SEMINAR

More than 20 female students from the Divit Rural Training Centre in Visale Northwest Guadalcanal have attended a two day media seminar over the weekend.

SIBC stringer for Northwest Guadalcanal John Toki reports, the seminar’s intention was to assist students understand the importance of disseminating information to the mainstream media.

He says the students learn about the important role media plays in the society.

The seminar was organised by the Catholic Communication Solomon Islands.
