Taimareho ferry sea tragedy inqury soon

An inquiry into the tragic incident occurred during MV Taimahero’s voyage to West Are’are, Malaita Province, which resulted in the death of 27 passengers last Friday will be conducted soon.
This was confirmed by the Deputy Director Maritimes Operations, Brian Aonima
Mr Aonima says, they will proceed with the inquiry once MV Taimahero’s captain returns to Honiara.
Mr Aonima adds, the investigations will take time to complete.
SIBC News understands, MV Taimareho arrived at Afio in Small Malaita yesterday.
