The Republic of China (Taiwan) Embassy in Honiara announces, another set of scholarships are open for application.

Called 2016 Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) Scholarship, it comprises 31 programs for bachelor, master and Ph.D. degrees provided by 21 Taiwanese universities.

A statement from the Taiwanese Embassy said study areas include tropical agriculture, business administration, international studies, technology management, engineering, healthcare and nursing.

Education, environmental sustainability, marine science, human resource, computer science, medical laboratory sciences and medicine are also included.

Once accepted, each scholarship recipient is entitled to a study grant including a return airfare, housing, tuition and credit fees, insurance, textbook costs and a monthly allowance.

2016 Taiwan ICDF Scholarships are provided by the Taiwan International Cooperation Fund.

Details of the scholarship can be obtained from the Taiwanese Embassy in Honiara.

Applications are open until March 15.
