TAXPAYERS URGED TO LODGE AND PAY UP ON DUE DATES
The Inland Revenue Division (IRD) of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury has reminded all Solomon Islanders to always lodge the required tax returns and make the necessary payments by their valid due dates.
The division today says this important reminder comes after some business taxpayers failed to pay their tax obligations.
The return lodgements and payments have surpassed their December due dates.
The Inland Revenue Division calls on all taxpayers to seriously consider paying up their outstanding dues as failing to take heed of this will not only result in tax debts but also penalties.
