TREE GROWERS QUESTIONED GOV’T OVER FORESTRY ASSISTANCE

Smallholder tree growers in North Malaita have called on the Ministry of Forest and Research to revive its financial assistance to enable them continue their tree growing business.

This call comes after the Ministry fails to fund tree growing activities in the area since 2013.

“The North Malaita tree growers have questioned the DCC Government as to whether the assistance for tree growers as was provided in 2013 is still available.”
