UNIVERSITY IS STILL ON TRACK: ACOM
The Anglican Church of Melanesia has reassured the country that its proposed John Coleridge Patterson University in the country is on track.
Recently, critics questioned the project as it surpasses its implementation time frame.
But Coordinator of the John Coleridge Patterson University project Fr. Philemon Akao told SIBC’s ‘Distaem Nao’ program, the proposed project is still on despite the delay.
He says the project committee recently held a successful meeting with the landowning groups of the project.
“We’ve recently met with them and have signed a memorandum of understanding from the landowner’s perspective and the church to show that everything is clear on land so that the church can go ahead and do what it wants to do on the land at Kosu.”
