A community leader of Feraladoa community in Central Honiara has called on the Solomon Islands Full Gospel Association (SIFGA) and those responsible to carefully assess missionary work of any overseas religious groups before accepting them in the country.

This follows a recent incident in which an overseas missionary physically abused one of his church members in Honiara. Mr. Joses Sanga.

“Just recently a church pastor had an argument with students over petty issues and it so happened that this overseas missionary took things to an extreme of assaulting one of his congregation members.”

SIBC News understands Solomon Islands Christian Association (SICA)and Solomon Islands Full Gospel Association (SIFGA) are mandated to organise religious representation at the national level.
