Managing human resources in public service remains a challenging duty faced by the Ministry of Public Service.

Speaking about the annual Public Service Excellence in Human Resources Management Awards last week, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry Nego Sisiolo said, these include soft human resource management practices.

Mr. Sisiolo admits, managing human resources is a challenge that must be professionally handled by the responsible Ministry.

“The Ministry of Public Service has experienced quite challenging situations especially in terms of managing human resources across the service, these are somewhat regarded as soft human resource management practices.”
