WEST GUADALCANAL CONSTITUENTS CONCERN OVER C.D.O POST

People of Satona, West Guadalcanal are concerned over allegations that their Member of Parliament still uses his wife as his Constituency Development Officer for West Guadalcanal.

In April this year, the Leadership Code Commission formally Charged Moses Garu for misconduct in office for appointing his own wife to be the CDO for West Guadalcanal.

Speaking to SIBC News, an Emanuel Bubu said, the post should be advertised and a neutral person is appointed.

“The CDO job should be taken by somebody who has nothing to do or someone who has experience in such a field of work.”

SIBC News could not reach Hon. Garu over the weekend for his comments.
