WOMEN’S RIGHTS ACTION MOVEMENT LAUNCHED AS NGO

The Women Right’s Action Movement (WRAM) has been launched as a non-government organisation yesterday in Honiara.

Established as a registered Charitable organisation under the Charitable act of Solomon Islands in 2011, the organisation promotes gender equality in Solomon Islands.

Speaking during the launching yesterday, Solomon Islands Council of Women President, Ella Kauhue said WRAM was established to support the advancement of women and promote gender equality in the country.
