WORLD VISION TO LAUNCH CLIMATE CHANGE DOCUMENTARY

The World Vision will launch a Climate Change documentary featuring stories of the people of Solomon Islands tomorrow in Honiara.

The documentary includes stories from people in Makira Ulawa and Guadalcanal provinces and Ontong Java and shows World Vision’s collaboration with community members, the Government of Solomon Islands and local organisations to assist affected people to be more resilient to a changing climate.

It will be screened for Members of Parliament tomorrow for the first time as part of its advocacy work to gain the support of the MP’s in addressing climate change, and helping communities to adapt.
