YOUTH GATHERING ENDED SUCCESSFULLY IN NORTH MALAITA

A three days Youth gathering was successfully completed at Malu’u parish, North Malaita over the weekend.
Themed as “Empowering Youth for Self Discovering”, the program aims to empower youths to realize their unique potentials and responsibilities in life.
The program involved informative sessions and talent exposure.
Program Coordinator Selestine Samo said the program is a step forward to tackle anti-social behaviour among our young population.

“When I asked Mr. Selestine Samo who was the man behind this program as to what the rationale was behind such programs provided it’s the third time, Mr. Samo said this is to engage youths in church programs instead of involving in unwanted activities such as drugs and illegal substance abuse, ruining their lives.”
