UNITED CHURCH LAUNCHED ITS 2017 THEME

The United Church in Solomon Islands has launched its 2017 theme to guide the work of the Church.

Superintendent Minister Reverend Kine Maezama announced the theme as “The year of Re-assessing and Reconciling.”

Speaking during the New Year service on Sunday, Reverend Maezama said the theme is based on 2 Corinthians 5:16 to 21.

The Chapter spoke of the reconciliation God made for sinners through Christ and the Ministry of Reconciliation which He entrusted to His people.
