Authorities of Aisalinga Community High School in Central Kwara’ae, Malaita Province have questioned the recent payment delay to some of its staff.

Chairman of the school Mr. Paul Kabolo says the delay will impinge on the general well-being of the affected staff and school in general.

“Some staff from the Primary division this year couldn’t receive their salaries for the past three fortnights and for the secondary division TIT staff haven’t received their pay for four months.”

The Chairman calls on the Ministry of Education to quickly address the issue as prolonging it will only be detrimental to the students academic classes.

“That’s why I am raising this concern so that responsible authorities especially the Ministry’s Human Resources department could address it.”
