C.B.S.I LAUNCHES NEW $100 BILL

The Central Bank of Solomon Islands (CBSI) launches its new $100 bill today.

CBSI explains, the new note is slightly smaller than the current one but retains most of the strong images and bold colours.

It says the main difference is that the new note features a super wide security thread with a transparent window that is highly secure and extremely difficult to replicate successfully.

This replaces the hologram which appeared on the old notes.
