Two people have filed a case at the High Court claiming the registration of three parcels of land at White River in the names of West Honiara M-P Namson Tran, Honiara City Mayor Andrew Mua and three other people was by mistake and fraud.

Basil Tavake and Anna Bako filed the case last month.

The duo claims the registration of three parcels of land in the Whiter River seafront to these people tantamounts to fraud.

Mr Tavake and Ms Bako are seeking the Court’s orders for the title of the parcels to be rectified in favour of themselves on the basis of such mistake and fraud.

They also seek Court orders and declaration that the defendants, their servants, agents and others be permanently restrained from claiming or entering the parcels of land for any purposes.

Mr Tran and four other defendants are yet to file their response to the case.
