DUSTY ROAD RAISED HEALTH CONCERNS FOR RESIDENTS
Residents along the Bahai and Saint Barnabas Cathedral have expressed concerns over excessive dust from the main road which is posing health threats to their lives.
Saint Barnabas Cathedral Dean, Father Davidson Waeramo told SIBC News, people have experienced so much dust especially after the stretch of road adjacent to the Church was repaired recently.
He says for almost two months people are affected with diseases like flue and coughing, from which they are yet to recover.
“At the moment some of us are suffering from flu and coughs and as we know from health authorities that when we breath in such bad air, it will affect our health. Some of us are still recovering from the dust.”
The Cathedral Dean strongly requested responsible authorities to quickly step in to fix the stretch of road to minimise the health threats it is posing to their communities.
