GUADALCANAL PREMIER APPLAUDED PM’S HOSPITAL VISIT ON CHRISTMAS
Newly elected Premier of Guadalcanal Province, Hon. Bartholomew Vavanga has thanked the Hon. Prime Minister and his family for visiting the Good Samaritan Hospital, as part of the family’s Christmas celebrations.
In a statement to SIBC News, Premier Vavanga says although it was a surprise visit, he is thankful to Hon. Manasseh and wife Emmy Sogavare and their kids for their humility and charity for choosing to share God’s love in songs and bible verses to the patients and staff of Good Samaritan Hospital at Tetere.
Mr. Vavanga says, his people are grateful for his decision to reach them on their level, adding that such a visit indicates the Prime Minister’s goodwill gesture and interest to work with them.
The Provincial Assembly member for Ghaobata ward, where the hospital is located adds, he is pleased to extend his warm greetings to the Hon. Prime Minister and family as they celebrate the New Year.
The Premier also extends seasons greetings to all Guadalcanal people, encouraging them to make their celebrations a meaningful and blessed one.
