TRAVELLING PUBLIC ADVISED TO ABIDE BY MARINE LAWS

The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) advises the travelling public and vessels to abide with Marine laws when travelling for their Christmas holiday.

In his weekly media conference today, Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast advised the public, Captains and crews to support the police in ensuring an accident-free travelling to their respective homes for the Christmas holidays.

“Am asking that all Captains, crews and passengers assist police officers by cooperating in ensuring that any incidents relating to the breach of maritime laws are reported to us but people should also exercise common sense when boarding vessels to go home.”
