HEARING INTO REPORT ON QUALITY OF HEALTH SERVICES CONVENED
The Health and Medical Services Committee will be conducting a two-day Inquiry into the 2009 Report of the Special Select Committee Inquiry, into the Quality of Medical Services provided at the National Referral Hospital.
A statement from the Parliament Media Unit today says the Inquiry will be held at the National Referral Hospital Conference room tomorrow.
It adds the event will involve stakeholders from the National Referral Hospital, Senior Officials from the Ministry of Health and Medical Services, and the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, including the Permanent Secretary.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Health and Medical Services Committee Honourable Charles Sigoto will lead the discussion.
The Parliamentary Health and Medical Services Committee noted that as it is a long standing issue, it’s time the Democratic Coalition for Change (DCC) Government re-prioritize funding for the Hospital.
