HIGH COURT REFERRED ALLEGED MURDER CASE FOR LISTING

The High Court has referred for listing, the case of a young man who allegedly murdered his sister-in-law with a knife on New Year’s Eve last year.

Rex Alley who faces one count of murder appeared before the High Court behind bars last Friday for a mention on his case.

He allegedly used a kitchen knife to cut his sister-in-law on her shoulder and leg in a cocoa farm at Tenaru, East Guadalcanal on New Year’s Eve.

He did this while she was trying to take his son away from him whom he ran away with to the bush.

A trial date will be listed by the Registrar for the case.
