HUNDREDS IN BUALA FOR 2016 KODILI FESTIVAL

Hundreds of people began converging into Buala, Isabel Province ahead of the 2016 Kodili Trade and Cultural Festival tomorrow.
A Eucharist celebration was held in the township this morning with participants from in and around the province settling down awaiting the official opening.
SIBC’s Charlie Salini reports from Buala, the festival will be officially opened by the Acting Prime Minister Manasseh Maelanga.
“The Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Maelanga will make the declaration of the Kodili Festival as an important event in the Isabel Provincial calendar. Everyone in Isabel province is excited about the event.”
The theme for this year’s festival is “Embracing Culture in Custom and Harmony”.
