Parliamentary Opposition Group has called on the Government to inform the nation its proposed implementation approach on the national projects in Malaita Province.

The Opposition Group made this call after the Government fails to advance the Auluta Palm Oil Project, Waisisi Palm Oil, Bina Harbor Industrial Township Project, Suava Tuna Canning Project and Wairokai International sea port.

Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare has admitted, his government has taken a wrong approach and that the government may have been talking to the wrong people.

Mr. Sogavare assures, his government will review its strategy towards implementing national projects in the Provinces.

The same sentiments were also shared by the Finance Minister last year with the Government proposing to review the approach and progress investments in Suava Bay and Bina Harbor.

The Opposition Group reminds the Government, these projects are significant national projects and must not continue to be used as political propaganda.

The statement adds the Prime Minister must live up to his promises for Malaita given that a lot of the promises to the people last year have been nothing but sweet talk.
