LEADERS SHOULD RECOGNISE OUR YOUNG PEOPLE: ETHEL SIGIMANU
The Permanent Secretary for Women, Youth, Children and Family Affairs, Ethel Sigimanu has challenged national leaders to recognise young people as leaders in their own right.
Mrs Sigimanu made the statement during the national youth award this week.
The Permanent Secretary said, young people call for their respect and demand recognition from the nation’s leaders.
“Today we call for respect for our young generation. Today we demand their recognition. Today we challenge this nations’s leaders to recognise our young people as leaders in their own right, and to our young people who are present here or who maybe listening somewhere else, if you feel you have what it takes, then join our young people.”
