The Ministry of Infrastructure Development has signed off a $43 million landmark contract for the Naro-Lambi Road Rehabilitation and Design-Build Bridge Project this week.
MID’s Permanent Secretary, Moses Virivolomo said during the signing ceremony, the government wants the Naro-Lambi Road Rehabilitation and Design-Build Bridge Project to materialise.
He says the signing of the contract between MID and China Harbour Engineering Company-Solfish JV commits the government to the project.
Meanwhile Director of the Engineering, Harry Rini says this is the first international contract fully financed by the government.
