MAKIRA PREMIER DEFENDS POLICY
The Makira Ulawa Provincial Premier Hon Stanley Siapu has responded to critics against his government’s policy.
A non executive member from the Makira Ulawa provincial government criticised the policy that was introduced during the recent assembly as ‘lacking vision’.
But in his response, Premier Siapu says, the policy was very clear, original and drawn on the best interest of the people of Makira Ulawa province.
“My government is very clear as to the policy that we formulate. This policy is original and home-grown and we drew it up after the election which took place on 16th December 2015 where 80 percent of newly elected members where people wants change. That clearly shows that the people of Makira really want change.”
