A Honiara man has raised concerns over the distribution of relief supplies to the flood affected communities of Koa Hill, saying elements of unfair distribution has been sensed.

John Ere’enimae is concerned, flood victims are devastated – what they need is immediate relief supplies, ‘fairly’ distributed.

Mr. Ere’enimae told SIBC News, unfair treatment is unbecoming of the responsible authorities.

He said since the devastating floods, their Honiara City Council ward member is yet to visit them.

Mr. Ere’enimae said during such difficult times the presence of leaders and their assistance is very much needed.

He said responsible authorities and leaders must make the right decision in helping their people, who are victims of the recent flash floods.

SIBC News received similar complaints from flood victims in Honiara, Guadalcanal and the rest of Solomon Islands.
