NINE-YEAR-OLD BOY GONE MISSING AFTER FISHING TRIP

Guadalcanal police are continuing its search for a nine-year-old boy who went missing, after a trip with his two other brothers at Marau resort area yesterday morning.

Police alleged the victim and his two brothers were diving while he kept the canoe at approximately about 10am yesterday.

Both boys came from the canoe to check on him, but he went missing.

A police team was dispatched with the help of locals immediately after receiving the report but were unable to trace any evidence of his whereabouts.

Police urge members of the public particularly those living around the Marau sea shore, to report to the police any sighting of the missing boy or his canoe.
