Two newly commissioned 100 Kilowatts gen sets installed at Tulagi, Central Province, is making a significant difference in the lives of the provincial town’s residence.

Power output has increased immensely supplying the entire township.

In a statement, Solomon Power says the new 100 Kilowatts (KW) Kohler Generators were installed with switchgear last week.

It adds the upgrade installation is part of Solomon Power’s current Outstation Generation Upgrade Program in provincial centers including Gizo, Noro, Munda, Auki and Tulagi.

Meanwhile, the statement reaffirms the remaining outstations will be upgraded under the program improving electricity reliability and increase the generation capacity in the targeted townships.
