Many North Malaita constituents have appreciated the management capability of their community agent, Mrs Lina Iroketa.

Stringer John Andrew Kiri reports, this follows a successful distribution of $15,000 support to school children in Ward seven of North Malaita Constituency.

Mr Kiri adds this is historical for women leadership in North Malaita Constituency, a male dominant region.

“It is indeed our first time to experience transparency and accountability from a female who took up a leadership role and has done tremendously well because she had distributed funds equally to the schools and witnessing this, we thought that women should be given leadership roles in our society.”
