Parliament met briefly on Friday morning and adjourned to next Monday.

The second reading of the Constitutional (Amendment) (Dual Citizenship) Bill 2017 has been postponed until next week.

It was on yesterday’s Order Paper, but a lack of quorum prevented the bill from being discussed in Parliament.

The only business today was Prime Minister Rick Houenipwela’s reading of the Statement of Government Business for the week ending Friday, March 9.

The Prime Minister then moved the adjournment motion.
