Prime Minister Hon Manasseh Sogavare has made a goodwill visit to Pangoe Community in Northeast Choiseul today.

Soon after his arrival, Prime Minister and Madam Sogavare took a long walk through the coastal community welcomed by leaders and members of the community.

Milton Talasasa of Pangoe Community reports.

“The Hon. Prime Minister and the Member of Parliament for North East Choiseul has visited Pangoe this midday, arriving at the wharf he took a long walk to Pangoe and accompanied by Madam Emmy Sogavare as well as his staff and police officers from the wharf to the Pangoe village.”

Meanwhile, Mr Talasasa says Prime Minister and madam Sogavare also presented gifts to children of Pangoe Community.

“An important activity he was here for was to present gifts to children.”

The Prime Minister returns to Honiara on Wednesday 11th January.
