POLICE CONFIRMED INVESTIGATIONS ON BECHE-DE-MER

Police have confirmed, they are currently investigating the beche-der-mer consignment which was stolen from the Ministry of Fisheries compound late last year.

Assistant Commissioner for Provincial Operations Selwyn Rotu told the media today in the police weekly conference.

He says additional evidences are required to present a strong case in court.

Mr Rotu adds, while Police understands the case is prolonged, his officers also face challenges dealing with it.
